Brewer and owner, Patrick Dunn, became enamored with craft beer and its variety in college. After a few years of trying every beer he could, he decided to learn how to brew at home. The idea of developing his own twists on styles and create entirely original flavors sucked him in completely. After a few years of homebrewing while working long hours in the film industry and growing a family, he decided to take a leap. With family help (and patience) he started brewing professionally, and doing what he loves: making people happy.
With the help of his wife Laura on the business side, the two launched the 15 barrel production brewery in 2016, opened a taproom to the public in 2017 and have plans to open more tasting rooms in and around LA in the near future.
Lincoln Beer Company is known for its variety of IPAs, lagers and unique flavor combinations like Habanero Vanilla Red. The Company has also partnered with companies like The Simpsons to create Duff Crafted Lager and Actor Danny Trejo on Trejo’s Cerveza Mexican Lager.
What a GEM. I'm hesitant to give this a five star review since it's finally something excellent near my house and I wanna keep it exclusive but I see it already has a ton of em so no harm. This is the kind of place where you bring people when they visit LA and then introduce them to the beertender Mike and tell them that he's just some typical Angelino and don't introduce them to anyone else and send em packing. The Fiesta beer is so damn good. A lot of their beers are unique, the aesthetic is super St Louis aka exposed brick, industrial blend, aka what we're all looking for now. The ones I tried were all on the sweeter caramely side which is excellent and sadly all too rare in socal IPA craze. (They have plenty of hoppy IPAs as well). Full Review
I hosted my birthday party here yesterday, and had 50 plus guests join in on the fun.
The staff were incredible, the beer was fantastic, and there were plenty of games for families and friends to play. I will most definitely be going back here to hang out !
Thank you Ryan and staff. Full Review
It's got 5 stars for a reason. Good beer and AMAZING staff.
Most of the beer is good, but the IPAs are incredible. I don't typically like IPAS but I enjoyed theirs IMMENSELY. More lightly fruity than hoppy and bitt is. The "PHD" was the best beer I had there. Full Review
