LOS ANGELES COUNTY MUSEUM OF ART (LACMA)

5905 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles CA 90036

LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States, with a collection that includes nearly 130,000 objects dating from antiquity to the present, encompassing the geographic world and nearly the entire history of art. Among the museum’s strengths are its holdings of Asian art, Latin American art, ranging from pre-Columbian masterpieces to works by leading modern and contemporary artists; and Islamic art, of which LACMA hosts one of the most significant collections in the world.

This place has 1756 reviews! Doesn't need another long one. Dope museums. Great exhibits. Be basic and take a picture in front of the LACMA lights ;).

They currently have a Picasso exhibit. It's a private collection so you won't be able to take pics of the art.
Cheers! :) Full Review

Free Museum Day.

Finally made it to LA County Museum of Art, better known as LACMA. We came here on Free Museum Day usually held on the first weekend of February. We queued for the free tickets and made a donation at the ticket booth. There is a collection of 130,000 artworks dating from the ancient past to the present and LACMA is considered the largest art museum in the western U.S. This was my first time here. Full Review
