NORTON SIMON MUSEUM

411 West Colorado Blvd Pasadena CA 91105

Over a thirty-year period industrialist Norton Simon amassed an astonishing collection of European art from the Renaissance to the 20th century and a stellar collection of South and Southeast Asian art spanning 2,000 years. Approximately 1,000 works from the permanent collection of 12,000 objects are on view in the Norton Simon Museum’s galleries and sculpture garden throughout the year.

My favorite museum in southern CA. You can see Van Gogh, Picasso, Titian, Matisse ( & so much more) all in the same place. The cafe/sculpture garden is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a drink. Full Review

Norton Simon is one of the nicest Museums in SoCal. Located in Old Town Pasadena the museum offers variety of art such as paintings, sculptures and etc. Its architecture attracts visitors from all ages and areas as they can enjoy many famous art works from 16th-20th century. During my last visit I enjoyed some of the museum's permanent exhibitions of Picasso, Matisse, Cézanne, Van Gogh and Edgar Degas. Full Review
